    • Jackie Ramirez

There's plenty of more where that came from. Check out their other videos on

      • Sovanna Pouv

Thank you thank you. It's interesting that a lot of people go on with their lives not caring about any issue until it effects them. GOOD is the "Hub" of social good!

          • Sovanna Pouv

You're welcome and have an amazing day!

The message is great but the way this was put together was also really well done!! A lot of PSAs try to reach their target audience by being relatable but often times fall short. The song they sampled is a classic Rap song from the 90s and one of my favorites... so the video definitely caught my attention from beginning to end.

    • Jackie Ramirez

That's exactly right Yayne. They were able to capture youth's creativity so well and used fantastic sound effects and messaging that has not only caught youth's attention but ours as well. Have you seen the other videos on

  • lildickens

Right on!!! Am gonna show this to my patients!! Maybe they will make some changes!!

    • Jackie Ramirez

That's great! What type of work do you do?

  • Cameron Schuster

Spot ON!!!!!!! Great message, wish they would have cut in some scenes of the carnage diabetes causes the body and the community. She needs a verse on hypertension, obesity, and all the other ills, but well done!!!

    • Jackie Ramirez

Isn't this great! I wish the fellows could watch this. Take a look at the other videos from other youth, they bring up more good points. Go to and click on the WATCH link

  • Abi Magalong

Love this! I volunteered with Youth Speaks when they had their "Brave New Voices" competition in LA. It's a great organization, and now that much better for incorporating music AND health to spoken word.

    • Jackie Ramirez

Thats great Abi, looks like they are doing some very creative and impacting work. Let's definitely help them share these videos and spread the message about diabetes and its social determinants.

    • Abi Magalong

Also have a family history of diabetes, so I'll make sure my family gets the message!!!

  • Alessandra Rizzotti

Pretty genius. Not only makes a statement about diabetes, but also economics and poverty- which play into health.

    • Jackie Ramirez

That's exactly right Alessandra. It was so hard picking one video to share being that they have so many good ones.
