We are tougher than men. We are more resilient. Again and again I have found similar traits in women. It's a beautiful film.

Beautiful work with the Eyes, I saw his work first hand in Kibera slum in Nairobi on the rusted roof tops. I love the idea of the eyes being window in the soul, I am not so sure I understand why this video was called Women Are Heroes (they definitely are and I myself interview and collect women's stories from around the world to show Strength, breakdown stereotypes and highlight the incredible work by women). In this 9+ minute video I saw fantastic images of the eyes and a few very very short interview snippets of women, I want to know MORE of their stories, what are they doing in their communities for their neighbors, sisters, daughters, mothers.... Thank you for posting it. It is GOOD and I want to know even more. HUG (and I will once again check out JRs website) xoxo

A great video. I agree that women are heroes. I have collected stories of women heroes (aka compassionate rebels) and published them in two books of profiles of compassionate rebels: ordinary people changing the world. (www.compassionaterebel,com.) The everyday heroes featured in this book are bringing good to the world. They are but a few of the millions of compassionate rebels around the world. Their stories give us hope in difficult times, They inspire others to do good wherever they can. Free sample stories on the website.

Thank you for bringing GOOD to the world.

Burt, this is beautiful work, thank you for collecting these stories. I also collect women's stories from throughout time & place; real & traditional sharing them mostly in performance & presentation to break down stereotypes. Thank you for sharing a link and i LOVE the name: Compassionate Rebel!!!! HUGS from my heart to yours, Kristin
