Will Chicago's School Board Listen to a 9-Year-Old's Plea to Save Public Education?

Earlier this year 9-year-old Chicago student Asean Johnson fired up a crowd gathered to protest the closing of 50 of the city's schools, the largest mass school closing in U.S. history. Now Chicago's laying off 2,000 more educators, so this week he went to speak to the city's mayor-appointed school board. Johnson only had two minutes at the mic (and it's tough to hear him) but what's crystal clear is starting at about 1:20 he cries as he begs for the board to reconsider their actions.
