Cool video for your Kickstarter Cara. Have you heard of Stumptown? They are also really great about getting to know their coffee growers. Love the fruit angle. Do you ever have tastings?

Thank you! I'm a big fan of Stumptown! I always swing by the 12th Ave. Capitol Hill location whenever I'm in Seattle.

As soon as we are officially open we will host weekly tastings and home brewing classes at rotating local businesses. Passing on my love of coffee to others is my favorite thing to do, and who doesn't love a coffee tasting!

Great to know. With so many coffee companies, it's hard to know how they're all different. What do you think makes you guys stand a part?

I appreciate the thought provoking questions.
The boring, business answer is, we are the first coffee truck in the country to feature multiple roasters. We will also be the first coffee truck anywhere in Michigan.

The less "business" from the heart answer is: I love coffee. It is what drives me, and I don’t mean in the caffeinated way. I love to share my passion for coffee with others and get the people around me excited about what they are drinking. I want to make people happy by brewing and serving them delicious coffee every day.

Starting Strange Matter Coffee Co. isn’t just something I’m doing in my spare time or as a means to make a living. It is my passion. I have been working on this idea for nearly two years. We are not a non-profit, although I joke that we should be because I just want to give everyone tasty coffee.

          Passion is the answer.
