Teens battle each other on coding knowledge instead of rap flow

Juan Vasquez

Teens in our coding academies compete against and learn from each other during coding battles. Round by round, students ask each other questions on entrepreneurship, computer programming, web development, leadership, public speaking, and more. The battling goes on until 1 champion is crowned.

This is simply amazing! Combining teens' love for music with programming, web dev, and entrepreneurship. Do you see the program expanding to other areas? I know a lot of students in schools throughout the country that could really use this!!

Thanks Mindy! We have a blast during the coding academies as a whole, but the code battles are a whole different level. The vision includes chapter across the country. We actually have a crowdfunding campaign kicking off this week and part of the goal is to create additional chapters. I'm happy to send our FAQ sheet or links to our students' work if you're interested.
