I love how dynamic this intv is and that he debunks the democratic system by saying that voting doesn't work!!!!

I was very impressed, and I've watched it a few times. I love the way his mind works, so quick, tempered and poignant!

He's passionate, smart, AND funny. I hate that bec he doesn't have specific solutions, the interviewer is discrediting him. I hope he invests in innovators like you and some tech/environmental/design giants.

Oh, I wouldn't worry about the specifics. That's an old reporter trick. No matter how specific someone gets the reporters will keep asking for more because eventually the person slips up. I think he deflected the comment nicely when he said he wasn't going to sit in a hotel room and come up with a utopian idea for society. What I took away at the end of the talk that I hope others take away is the point that we don't have to ask people for permission to change things. If things need to get better them we just go out and do them and that the systems in place now are causing such big inequities that they're no longer relevant.

He brought up a few issues that a lot of people have been thinking, and many have said openly, namely that the current systems don't work. However, I think the headline is misleading. I don't think that his revolution can be started without a specific or even general direction for people to go in other than the status quo. Brand says he doesn't vote, because he doesn't believe in the system, but I'm not sure that's the most productive approach. I applaud Brand for being so vocal on so many things lately but in the future I'd like to see one of his appearances include some way we can all take action.

I love when Brand says that he doesn't mind if people don't take him seriously (6:35), but that he's there to draw attention to the problems like the Occupy movement (8:44).
