Reinventing giving

Agus Echague

Scott Harrison is awesome. He also happens to be the founder of Charity:Water.
What I really like about it is:
1- they reinvented giving: charity (contributions) vs water (donations)
2- they SHOW you exactly what your money does. and lets you track it.
3- how they focus on a tangible thing like WATER but the benefit is an intangible one, like HEALTH > he tells a story with a BRAND.

    Yeah, Scott is a big stud. And a member of GOOD so we're all in good company. I think it's pretty grand how he's navigated the long tail of support for an issue (water) that was previously only the domain of national aid budgets and large foundation efforts.
