"Our Stories Are Important," a digital story made by girls in India

Did you know that India is the world’s largest producer of films? Or that, as a matter of fact, Hyderabad is home to the second largest film industry in the country? My students West Marredpally Government Girls High School here in Hyderabad, though, were rightfully upset the fact that despite this thriving film culture, women and girls are rarely shown as heroines or even principle characters.

      Hey Alessandra, thank you so much! Right now our curriculum is only in Hyderabad and Boston but it's been done before in Northern Africa and Latin America.
