Thanks for sharing this story! I SERIOUSLY see one of these every time i pick up my coworker from his house in Koreatown in Los Angeles. amazing - i had no idea. I'm glad that the cycling movement still lives on in car centered Los Angeles. Slowly we are breaking apart the car culture and addressing what LA NEEDS to be as a city that respect its cyclists.

6th St. and Virgil? If so that was a 90 year old man who was killed by a hit and run driver.

Ever since I first learned the story behind the white bicycles chained up around Oakland and Berkeley, I've had a tremendous amount of admiration for the people who come together to bring awareness to the need for increased safety for cyclists.

It's good to see something positive come out of tragedy.

PS- I just realized that you're making a film about this, Danny. Do you need to connect with any bikers? Happy to connect you with members of GOOD!

Great. I'll email this link to a few biking friends and see if they want to connect!
