How One Man Quit His Job to Feed the Homeless

A hotel manager in Bangalore realized he wanted more purpose in his life, and decided to quit his job to take care of homeless and mentally ill people in his community—cooking them food every day, feeding them, bathing them, and showing them that someone cares, even though as a Brahmin he's supposed to stay away from them.

This video's a couple of years old but totally touching. "What's the ultimate purpose of life?" the man asks. "It's to give."

    These are the real heroes of the modern world. People idolize corporate kingpins, for what, selling products effectively? People idolize celebrities, for what, not giving a damn about anyone else? Damn narcissism, damn apathy. Nothing but respect for this guy though. Truly inspirational. THIS is humanity. And it is awesome.
