Start with the last suggestion in the Time article first: Not Cooking. Like myself you might not think you like raw veggies that much or that they don't really agree with you stomach. And until your microbiome has adjusted, both of these are probably true.
The good news is that if you eat mostly raw vegetables for three weeks - by weight - your gut adjusts. Suddenly those same veggies taste great, you crave them, and your tummy thanks you for them. Mine did, and so will yours.
Make sure you try the white stems of bok choy raw, cut into sticks. Terrific.
