I've had this sense that the Arab nations are sitting back, waiting for the fracking debacle to blow over. They've got plenty of reserves and bank accounts to be able to wait out our American immaturity and low oil prices.
On the up side, keeping oil prices low diminishes the funding available for black market oil sales by terrorist organizations.
It'll be interesting to see what kind of automobiles are released on the market now that fuel prices are low again. I suspect we'll see the return of the gas guzzling SUV and such. Quite a shame. It's great to see these fracking operations go under, but the loss of ambition to make better cars is unfortunate as well.
