Great idea. But please stop the NYC fear mongering. Yes, we live here and know you were just being facetious, but the rest of the world already wonders how we can possibly live our lives in such filth with people constantly coughing all over us, while creeps are staring at us, and babies are screaming. The MTA isn't perfect, but drive around LA (or Jacksonville or Atlanta) for four hours a day and get back to me on the sad state of public transportation. Nothing personal--still a great article--just wanted to take a moment to be thankful for one of our greatest assets here in NYC.
