Several years ago I ran out of hope and almost careened into the ditch of despair. The kind of hope that I had been running on up to then sputtered and burned out like preliminary rocket in a lift-off operation. The state of being into which I had been propelled was beyond both hope and hopelessness. Beyond hope I now experience and bestow the blessings of gratitude. One of such blessings is to perceive and nurture hope needed by others.
