I'm always so impressed by other people's perfection. I mean, that's the only way they could be judging someone else's imperfection logically. An alternative, I suppose is that they are hypocritical Pharisees, who have their own flaws, but dwell on the flaws of others to deflect from themselves.
Society attempts to destroy the reputation of prophets. It always has, and always will. What has been done to Dr. King's legacy is no different than those yelling "crucify him!" It is sad that we must continue to learn this lesson again, and again, and again.
If our leaders and heroes must be flawless, then we are going to have an even more lost group of people, because we will never find anyone worthy.
