Roo meat is good. You all pissing on it need to give it a try. You other lot saying they're wild creature that need to be left alone... did you forget how much of an anthropogenic landscape most of Australia is? The vast stretches of green exist because the first peoples made it that way -- SO THEY COULD EAT ROOS!
I lived in Australia for a year and a half. For about a year, I worked in ag. For about a month of that year, I worked on cattle and sheep stations fixing fences, building windmills, etc.
Sheep and lawns and golf courses displace native animals, yes. That's a shame. But they are there, and the roos are there, too. The roos are a plentiful resource, and they taste good, too.
One night the crew on our station in South Australia was blessed enough to get not just a roo, but also an emu. Emus are dumb creatures, and one of them ran into the ute the dogger was driving.
Verdict: Roos = good.
