Hans Rosling shows us that in more and more countries, people are having smaller families with longer lives. How does THIS affect overpopulation, or at least change the way we have to think about it?

I love the interactive infographics in this talk! Seeing how he can sort this info by countries is incredible. I'm geeking out. Karl- do you teach global development in Morocco? Just curious what your specialty is.

    • Karl Allen

No, I teach English here in Morocco, and research Hispano-Moorish Islamic art & architecture. I love Professor Rosling's positivity and charisma as much as his talent with data.

Awesome. Ya we love infographics here and I think you'd probably like some of ours: good.is/good-infographics. You should definitely share the stuff you're researching in terms of Islamic art and architecture. We have a great Design community here that would love it!

Oh, I'd love to. I'm hoping to publish a book on the subject next year. I'm really enjoying this site by the way. There's so much inspiration here...and you guys are all so, well, good....I'm delighted to be involved.

just adding my thoughts that this is just awesome. I feel like Rosling sets a sweet bar on this front and has pulled many into this issue with his ability to communicate the facts in a way that the brain can capture.
