Writing Aid for Children with Motor Dyspraxia - by RISD students


The main goal for this project was to design a writing tool aimed to assist children with motor disabilities, mainly those with motor dyspraxia, in academic environments without highlighting their differences. The design result is a solution to diminish the learning gap that is prevalent in these children who do not receive the same educational benefit from traditional reading and writing exercises as their unaffected peers. Research and design by two RISD students: Ivy Hu and Chris Wakefield.
