    I agree.

    Arts education is not about creating artists, musicians, actors, etc. It is about learning to think creatively, developing self confidence and learning to work as part of a team. It develops patience and determination without the usual focus on exams with right and wrong answers.

    These skills will assist the learning of all subjects and will stay with the child for the rest of their lives, whatever career path they take.

    Is it really possible that there are people who don't see what could happen if arts subjects are forced out of education?
