Will Banning Underweight Models Prevent Eating Disorders?

Israel recently passed a law banning underweight models in the fashion industry. The legislation requires models produce a medical report at photo shoots demonstrating that they have a BMI of no less than 18.5 before they’re hired for a modeling job. Over 10 million Americans struggle with eating disorders, & anorexia is the most fatal mental illness. So will banning super-thin models end the epidemic that kills so many women worldwide?
