This is amazing! Imagine if ever company adopted this idea. I recently read a study from Deloitte saying that some 80% of millennials want to work at a company that contributes to society. With such a high percentage of young people caring about having a social impact, I have a feeling service will only increase in the future. Have you or Clif Bar ever looked into skills based volunteering?

Really love this—this is the sort of company culture that all businesses should aim for. As you say, not only is it the right thing to do, it also has real benefits for the company, like retention...I've seen studies that say replacing a single employee can cost ~$150,000 or more. Your program is exactly the kind of thing that makes employees really believe in the place they work and want to stay.
