I use argan oil as moisturizer every morning and night, and pure raw shea butter when my skin gets extra dry. Oftentimes, simpler is better! I also use raw honey, not topically as much as for sore throats and in my tea and baked goods. But I need to start looking into it's topical uses more.

Great post! Lavender oil has fewer but similar properties as Tea Tree, healing, antibacterial, etc., and has a frendlier smell!
Did you know that during WW2 australian farmers who grew tea tree didn't go to the army, because of the important role of this oil in the soldiers first aid kits...

I use rose hip oil as a moisturiser, wound healer, skin soother....
Is there any evidence for it?

I have used honey and olive oil in a sugar scrub it leaves the skin extremely soft to the touch. This works best for me because of my sensitivity to many of the store bought products.
