Help Crowdfund an Open-Access 3D Printing Workshop

Amanda Levesque

Danger!awesome is an open-access laser cutting and 3D printing workshop in the heart of Cambridge, Massachusetts. Our mission is to democratize access and training to rapid prototyping resources, long reserved for academic institutions and multi-million dollar R&D labs.

We want to teach anyone and everyone how to make, customize, and invent. Even your mom! Check out our Kickstarter to learn more about what we do, and tell us about your experiences with hands-on education in art and science.

I love how you're opening up 3D printing to the community! Really fun!

Thanks, Alessandra! We actually have a big group of board game designers coming in this week to train on the 3D printer. Can't wait to see what kinds of custom tokens and game pieces they think up!

First, I was just really excited about the idea of a community 3D printer, but then I read your comment and I love the idea of board game designers using printers! Such a simple but brilliant idea!

Those are all great, Amanda. My favorite is the octopus on the Sperrys! Wishing I lived on the East Coast so I could visit your space, haha!
