What's At The Bottom Of Echo Park Lake?

Ditched World War II-era guns and a hundred-year-old wagon wheel were among the items found at the bottom of Echo Park Lake in Los Angeles. No one really knows how they got there. They were found during a two-year effort to remove 40,000 cubic yards of junk from the historic lake. With Echo Park waters free of slime, sludge and guns, the city will re-open the park this weekend.
