We at the Congress of Racial Equality of California (CORE-CA) salute you. Teachers need to continue to be professionals and in order to do that they must defend the profession and what it is about and that is students and their education. Teachers need to realize this is a war and attitude makes a difference. It is wonderful what response you have tapped. The well is deep out there with frustrated teachers, parents, students and community.

We upset a lot of people with our detailed research into education, it's ties to the criminal justice system, transportation, health care and how they all tie together into what we call "Community." We also understand politics and how it works.

This organization has the opportunity to do something really great for our society by organizing this frustration out there concerning the privatization and corporatization along with the depersonalization of the education system and with that society. This cannot be allowed to happen. Let it be 100,000 by next Sunday.
