Congrats, Darling! Have heard lots of good things about you and it's awesome that this is turning into such a movement around the globe. Over in the UK there's now a couple of similar titles - we launched Libertine in April 2013 for exactly the same reasons you state here (and particularly frustration with the way serious subjects are mostly absent from women's magazines) and hip design-led title Riposte launched several months later in November. I truly hope that the influencing power of all these independent alternative titles combined can start to make a real shift in the mainstream media, and particularly in the advertising industry. Miss Representation made us aware of the problem, and we need more innovators to come up with solutions.
