What if There Were Only 10 Universities in the World?

Udacity founder Sebastian Thrun says that thanks to MOOCs, in 50 years we'll only have 10 higher education institutions. What will those schools be and what purpose will they serve? Education writer Audrey Watters has some ideas (University of Walmart, anyone?) Along with asking what would happen to Bowl games, Watters brilliantly notes, "We'd have to clarify the two outcomes we expect from universities: prestige (for the 1%) and worker training (for the rest of us).
