With the financial support of 22 donors, artist and former TEDxTokyo director Naho Iguchi is living in Berlin for a year without a job, endeavoring to see just what someone does when she's free from normal social constraints.

“What could happen if a person completely follows her intuition and five senses when making decisions, without worrying about income or social expectations—in other words, the sources of fear and anxiety that drive people in our current economic system?”

    If I never had to work again, I would just travel around the world. Not to beautiful luxurious places, but to the places nobody every wants to go. I want to be in a position to change the entire world, one day at a time. If I didn't have to work, I would take all of the money I have and travel to third world countries with bottles of water :)

      Yes! Fascinating stuff. I don't know if she did a TEDx talk specifically about this project, but there's a link on the Idealist blog to a good long Shareable interview with her.
