What Can We Learn from A Singapore School?

"The school’s motto is to 'nurture well-rounded and world-ready scientific minds to make distinguished contributions as Pioneers, Achievers, Thinkers & Humanitarians,'" shares CTQ teacherpreneur Ali Wright who visited the Singapore School of Math & Science last month. At this school, administrators emphasize the importance of providing students the freedom to play in order to help them focus academically. Does this sound radically different from our current school culture?

    I LOVE the idea of a walk of fame to inspire the students. Amazing also that the teachers have Master's Degrees. Would love to know if the govt supports their education so they can afford being teachers- or if they make great wages too?
