Pollyanna, I would like to agree with you but I do not. Yes, we all want our children to be well educated, but our differing opinons on what that means are a major stumbling block. It is really difficult to know what one does not know and a great many parents and educators do not know what good education looks and feels like. Until we afford to really educate a great percentage of our children we will not have the requisite number of future educators able to bring the next genration along. Maybe the current generation will be more altruistic, but maybe not.
