Green Lane Project wants to help six cities take their bike infrastructure to the next level. One of the project's creators says it's "a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to work with people who are on the cutting edge of an innovation." In 2012, Austin, Chicago, Memphis, Portland, San Francisco and Washington, where the first six winning cities to receive free support in designing and building better bike lanes. Who will be the next six cities to have protected green bike lanes?

      OH great! Thank you Adele. These are definitely easy to follow steps to bring bike lanes to a city near you :) I just think that when a city becomes more bikable and wakable it will motivate people to be more actively engaged within their communities and use active transportation to get around. All leading to higher rates of physical activity!
