More adolescents play League of Legends than there are all high school athletes in America combined. Filled stadiums in Korea cheer on Starcraft players. They're just video games, but the money is real, the competition is real, and all the camaraderie of a traditional sport remains intact. Whether it's good or bad, for now it's the way things are, and we will just have to make the most of it.
