The Polish Red Cross together with an advertising agency Cheil Poland have introduced a completely new way of fundraising called "Very Good Manners". In participating restaurants, customers after finishing their meals, can cross their cutlery on the plate just like in the Red Cross logo. This will cause the staff to add 5 PLN (approx. 1.5 EUR) to their bill. The money is then transferred to the Polish Red Cross who use it to buy meals for malnourished children.
