As a project for a class here at Washington University, students collaborated with healthcare management at Barnes Jewish Christian in St. Louis. There is a serious lack of physical and emotional infrastructure that goes into getting patients to and from the hospital, consistently and reliably. We learned how to empower the patient through simplicity and social design. Check out the work of classmates Kathleen Huang, Julia Bernstein and Marty Schoen.
