Ready for some good news on climate? Carbon emissions in the United States are lower than they've been since 1994, thanks in part to fewer coal power plants. Grist explains the rest of the reasons here, along with a soundtrack of 1994-era hits to celebrate the news. The only problem, of course, is that we (and the rest of the world) still need to do quite a bit more.
