U.N. Ad Campaign Reveals What the World Really Thinks of Women

Around the world, there are indications that women's positions in workplace and at home are changing for the better. But a new ad campaign by the U.N. suggests we still have a long way to go. The ads use popular Google search terms to show what people globally really think about women's roles, and its not pretty. While there's no specific call to action, that ads are a reminder that empowering women leads to prosperity, and further, equality is a basic human right.

    This UN ad really speaks volumes. I looked at the popular search terms (in English and Portuguese). Not pretty at all.

      Agreed. Its not something I thought to look at before I saw this campaign, and now that I do know it's pretty alarming.
