Nice piece, thanks. It seems that building a set of values into your business model has been key to staying true to your mission. In my communications business I'm still working through how to support my desire to work with clients in the social sector, provide some pro bono work and still create a viable business. Thanks for the lessons.

      Hi Lissa
Amazing to hear that you are trying to incorporate similar working structure into your own business. I wish you all the luck. Please keep in touch, if you need any advice or support.
Thanks again for you support. It means a lot.

Awesome stuff. It's always great to see valuable skills and ideas donated to causes that need them most. My organization (GuentherMedia.com) is a for-profit that works mostly in the nonprofit sector, so we can relate to big needs and small budgets. We often fight the battle of how much donated time is responsible/sustainable. Good to know we have brothers and sisters out there. Keep up the good work!

Very cool, thanks for sharing! I think many are realizing that work is better when it's more than simply a paycheck, so it's cool to see folks like you blazing the trail...

Thanks so much for sharing your process and insights. I've been working in a similar thread for a few years but in a much more informal way - very keen to take some of your learnings and apply them to my business!
