TreePeople’s Ecological Restoration Team to the Rescue

Known to locals as a great hiking and dog-walking area, 45-acre Coldwater Canyon Park is one of L.A.’s valuable open spaces, and therefore home also to a myriad species of native plants and animals. We can't stress enough that these fine folks are all volunteers! They take their service up a notch by training to become supervisors so that more teams can lead groups into the mountains for the much-needed restoration that we conduct all year long. Come enjoy the “botanic display corridor” they've installed in the park while propagating the native plants.
