To "Get By," DC-Based Families Need At Least $88,000+

According to the Economic Policy Institute (EPI), a family of four in the DC metropolitan area needs approximately $88,615 to have a "modest" living. Along parallel lines, the National Low Income Housing Coalition discovered that "minimum wage households" would require a minimum of three full-time jobs in order to afford the fair market rent value in the DC area.
