Theranos requires only a pinprick and a drop of blood. With that they can perform hundreds of tests, from standard cholesterol checks to sophisticated genetic analyses. The results are faster, more accurate, and far cheaper than conventional methods.

    I'm so excited about this. As someone that has to get blood tests often, the inefficiencies of labs are very frustrating. And, this seems to be a wonderful solution--- the fact that her company is the first to bill Medicare and Medicaid is mind-blowing and such a game-changer. Imagine the amount of people who will now be open to getting blood tests and regular checkups, despite income level. Wow.
