This Package Design Can Save Lives

Taking expired medicine can be fatal, but it's common anyway—sometimes printed expiration dates wear off, or are only written in English despite the fact they're being sold in non-English-speaking countries. This package design (just a concept for now) has one solution for the problem: a universal mark that shows up only when the drug's too old, using special ink that appears over time. One potential challenge is that drug manufacturers sometimes make expirations dates earlier than needed...
