Please take a detour- through Tampa or Palm Beach Gardens Fl. Hopefully when you see my passion for making, reusing, wood in general, PLUS the free intern I will offer you for the summer before he starts college, AND the digs on the water that is just sitting EMPTY waiting for a breath of fresh innovation...then I'll let you move on....

I have been waiting for something like this! I live in L.A. and right down the street from me is a surfboard manufacturer that releases toxins into the already polluted air every day. This idea would be a breath or fresh air. Literally.
    Great work, guys!

Right? Our shop smells so sweet and cedar-y. You wish you lived down the street from us!

Super enlightening article! I had no idea the amount of chemicals used to create surf boards. Your success in the East coast is just a prelude to the West Coast, surfer nation. Thanks for sharing ideas for community building! As a resident of LA, I'm definitely inspired to find "the Pug."

      • Grain Surfboards

We'll keep the Pug on the east coast - our west coast rig will be a whole different animal! Thanks for the nice words.

Love it too! I want to take a woodworking class. You guys should team up with Community Woodshop in Atwater when you come to LA!

Great Idea Guys, i think this is awesome. Coming from the California and now living in Baltimore, I think this would just kill it there. Should make a tour there ASAP

Look for us in Balitimore in our old Pug (a '66 Grumman bread van).
