is the 2013 competition still restricted to the 5 NY boroughs; I presently reside in Washington, DC, in a particular NE region of the district (otherwise known as 'Noma') where I find the local neighborhood culture here to be fascinating to capture and share as well; I have also emailed my inquiry to Ryan directly-the founder of the film challenge project.

Hey there - we are currently in NYC only, though we are looking for people like you who want to take this concept and bring it to your own city. Let me know if you might be interested in doing that!

Growing up we knew all of our neighbors whether they were not so nice or not. I was so outgoing and most of the neighbors were friendly back to us kids. It was an amazing time. Give it a chance again.

yeah man. i grew up in south africa during apartheid in a segregated neighborhood. everyone knew everyone and everything about everyone, but people had each other's backs like I have never experienced in the US. I'd love to see it given a chance again, or in my case, given a chance in a way I have never experienced.

Hey Nisha, that's a pretty cool experience. That aspect of being a neighbor has become so lost on us, but can be so important to our lives. Are you going to make a film with your neighbors this summer?
