This Border Collie Understands Syntax and Semantics

Chaser won't take a ball to a Frisbee if you tell him to "take frisbee to ball" because he understands prepositional objects, verbs, and direct objects. Even if you mix up objects with unfamiliar words, he knows what to do based on the words "take" and "to". What does this mean for science? Dogs may have made a giant leap in the understanding of language.
