The happiness in giving is best feeling. Often the poorest are the most generous. Love what they are doing!

I think we can also include time and energy as giving. Not just charity. And as Todd said below, it's important to remind ourselves when we are doing the best we can when we give.

Time, energy, support, information, encouragement, connecting others. We have so many ways we can help one another. Not so long ago, these things were just called "community". I feel like recently parts of our cultural ideals have been gravitating more and more to money-driven independence. Being able to afford to never need help from anyone that you can't pay for is the ideal for many. I'm really glad to see many people challenging that one in so many positive ways - like this one!

I think we often underestimate the power of action, action of *any* size that is taken up by many. Knowing this I feel like the challenge often is to convince others that what they can do is enough and that others are doing what they can as well.

I agree. I struggle with this myself; often thinking, yeah, but what can I do? And the answer is, something. We can all do something. Thanks for the reminder:)
