Amen to what you said: "One day, someone is going to figure out how to build a beautiful computer without exploiting human beings in the process."

I am a graphic designer and I need electronics to survive in my field. I have been using my current Mac for 10 years all the way back from University. I have recently become aware and am bothered by the unethical practices, especially by Apple.

From there on, I have been wishing for someone to come up with what you said so I don't have to resort to unwillingly buy a new Mac or another brand in the market (who is just as bad). But I have to upgrade soon as my softwares have become almost outdated... I feel like I can't buy into this horrible thing unless I make a vow to myself to do something about it in the future... I have a vision to build an ethical design company someday, in its material and in its spiritual form. So I really hope electronics will go through a positive evolution very soon!!!

    Thank you for your post!

Yes we are all slaves to the newest commodity.
We don't need most of those commodities.
Bring back a more non-consumer orientated society.
Choose life style rather the ridiculous capitalistic rat race, into which, we seem to have been enticed!!
