'Tell Everyone Your Idea' to filter out the bad, and find the good

We inherently overvalue things that we create. “The IKEA Effect” explains why even though IKEA furniture is not particularly valuable or attractive, the fact that we build it ourselves makes us value it much higher than a regular piece of furniture.

The same thing happens with ideas, when we have an idea we see it as something that we created, and that makes us see it as much more valuable than it actually is.
