    Thanks for sharing this list of pros and cons. I do wonder how accurate some of these are. For example, the 4th con states that "Because TFA members are not eligible for unions, they can be hired with lower salaries than union teachers and potentially displace them." That's not entirely true. If a TFA teacher is employed by a traditional public school in a district/state that happens to have a teachers union, that TFA teacher can join the union--and is usually automatically made a member of that union--and gets the same starting salary as every other first year teacher in the district. (I know because I was a TFA corps member and earned the same amount as other first year teachers who were not in TFA.) That said, this can look completely different if a corps member is hired by a charter, or works in a state without union protections, etc.

      Thanks for the classification, TFA works in so many places and systems it is difficult to make a comprehensive pro/con list. I would love for you to share your TFA experience with students in the NGS Community, could I interview you sometime?
