    Great idea to open minds

Haven't we told enough liberal social justice 'stories'?

    • Alessandra Rizzotti

Interested to know what you mean by that Charles. I think any justice type of story is worth telling.

  • Carly Harrill

Very intriguing article, and beautiful example of what can arise from putting a bunch of innovative, smart and compassionate young minds in a room. Just signed up to receive updates from Re3storyhack.org, but would be very interested in hearing if there are plans to take this to LA and about 2014 NY timing (since it appears the 2013 event is behind us.)

    • Hyperakt

Thanks for your interest Carly. No plans for LA at the moment, but we are very interest in partnering with people who would like to extend the StoryHack model to new cities.

  • Carolyn Sams

Have you considered doing anything in LA, especially bringing in the storytelling community that's out here?

    • Hyperakt

Carolyn, we'd love to bring the StoryHack to other cities. If you know anyone who would like to help us extend the model to LA, please put them in touch. This needs to be done with people who have solid connections to the creative and social impact communities in their city.

  • Hyperakt

    Absolutely! Check out re3storyhack.org

The idea, design and quality of your stories is phenomenal - keep it up!

  • Alex Cequea

I think this is just FANTASTIC. I'd love to see more about the StoryHack model so that others (myself included) can take it to more communities. Is there a home/website for the model itself?

    • Alessandra Rizzotti

PS Hyperakt's site for storytelling is: re3storyhack.org

    • Alessandra Rizzotti

Great idea. You may be able to find some info on their site here: http://hyperakt.com/events/ Are you a designer or storyteller, Alexander? Would love to know how you'd execute something like this. If you're in Brooklyn, that's where these guys are! If you share where you're from in your profile, I can better connect you to members who may be able to do a fun event like this with you!

      • Alex Cequea

Thanks Alessandra! I own a tech magazine called iPhone Life. I'm all the way in Iowa, but I would love to participate in any events next time I'm in NYC :-)

        • Alessandra Rizzotti

Cool- if you ever have tech info to share, feel free to post it as linkshares! And I recommend including something about yourself in your profile!

          • Alex Cequea

For sure! After visiting this site a number of times I finally just signed up today. So I'm looking forward to sharing links and contributing to the community :-)

            • Hyperakt

Alexander, definitely pay us a visit if you find yourself in Brooklyn. We're always up to something. As Alessandra mentioned above we host events regularly. Check out http://lunchtalks.hyperakt.com

I particularly think that the preparation you did beforehand in getting people together - and the whole submission process was probably key to your success. Great to hear it went well!
