This whole thing is fascinating to me -- especially as a global issue--and I'm wondering if city municipalities have put this at the bottom of their priority lists? Ihere is definitely a need, but I'm wondering how hard it is to sell and if more people are finding themselves taking underground approaches like the open tech institute. It would be interesting to see a simple how to on doing this yourself so that people globally can set networks up.
